How it works

Every piece we make is cut for one woman, from her own measurements. Here is exactly what happens between you choosing something and wearing it.

1. Choose your piece

Order any design from the collection in the size closest to you. That size is a starting point, not the final fit. If you want it in a different fabric, length, neckline or sleeve, tell us when you order. If you can picture it, we can make it.

2. We take your measurements

Within 24 hours of your order we message you on WhatsApp. We talk you through each measurement, one at a time, with a picture showing exactly where the tape goes. It takes about ten minutes. You need a tape measure and, ideally, one other person.

We also ask two questions: the date of your event, and whether there is anything about how clothes usually fit you that we should know. If there is something you always have to alter, tell us then and we build it in.

Nothing is cut until we have your measurements.

3. You approve

We confirm your fabric, colour and any changes in writing before anything is cut.

4. It arrives

Your piece is made in 7 business days from the day we have your measurements, then delivered anywhere in South Africa by The Courier Guy, to your door or your nearest Courier Guy Locker.

Alterations are included for 14 days after it reaches you.

Wedding dresses work differently. Those need fittings, so we agree a schedule with you and quote separately. Message us with your date as early as you can.
